Jan Perry of Shrewsbury has been named Volunteer Of The Year

May 20, 2009 - Jan Perry of Shrewsbury has been named Volunteer Of The Year by the Massachusetts Assisted Living Facilities Association (MASS-ALFA). Perry is a volunteer at Briarwood Continuing Care Retirement Community in Worcester. She is responsible for creating a computer room and training program for Briarwood's assisted living residents. Perry was one of 17 volunteers nominated at the Mass ALFA 15th annual Super Star Awards Dinner held May 11 at The Burlington Marriott Hotel.

Briarwood is a non-profit community offering independent living in cottages and apartments, plus assisted living and nursing care.
