Briarwood’s Board of Trustees has voted to name the Birches Auditorium in honor of Val and Steve Loring, two of the most active founders and ardent supporters of the Community. The announcement of the change was made at a reception held for the couple on January 29th, as they prepare for a move out of state. Staff members unveiled the lettering during the event and announced the new formal name: Valerie S. and Stephen B. Loring AUDITORIUM.
A program of blessings, tributes and the presentation of gifts highlighted the Lorings’ long-term dedication and leadership of the Briarwood Community.
