Briarwood Retirement Sample Dining Menu

Please be aware that this is a sample menu intended to provide an idea of what is available for dining at Briarwood. Actual menus and vary and are available at Briarwood.

MAIN DISHES

Broiled Half Chicken
Half Chicken seasoned with Garlic, Rosemary, Salt and Pepper; broiled til crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside

Meatloaf
Lean Ground Beef together with Herbs and Spices; baked and topped with a flavorful Brown Sauce

Fried Scallops
Tender Sweet Scallops lightly floured then deep fried til golden brown. Served with cole slaw and french-fries

Roast Leg of Lamb
Boneless Leg of Lamb seasoned with Garlic and Rosemary; slow roasted and sliced thin. Served with a pan gravy and mint jelly.

Chicken Cattatoire
Boneless chicken simmered in a tomato sauce with green pepper, onions and mushrooms. Served over pasta.

French Dip Sandwich
Thin sliced Roast Beef piled high on a French roll with sliced onion and bell peppers with a side of seasoned Au Jus

Chipotle Lime Tilapia
Tilapia filet topped with a tangy lime and chipotle crumb topping. Served with tartar sauce.

Wednesday: Chef’s Choice Soup, Rice Pilaf, Mashed Potato, Corn, Mixed Vegetables, Pecan Roll, Coconut Cake

Thursday: Boiled Potatoes, Mashed Potato, Peas & Carrots, Lime Beans, Dinner Roll, Assorted Cakes

Friday: New England Clam-Chowder, French-Fries, AuGratin Potato, Bean Blend, Orange Beets, Dinner Roll, Banana Cream Pie

Saturday: Chili Beef Soup, Mashed Sweet Potatoes, Herbed Rice, Cream Corn, Cauliflower, Dinner Roll, Jell-O
