Memory Care
that Feels Like Home
The Evergreens at Briarwood is a beautiful, safe, and secure 12-resident home for seniors with memory loss. Each person has a private apartment and bathroom furnished with their own belongings. The community spaces are open, allowing most people to navigate without assistance.
Why the Evergreens
Memory loss can be a big challenge for seniors — but a person with memory loss can still enjoy a quality of life that includes friendship, independence, purpose, connection, and value. The Evergreens’ program is person-centered, recognizing individual abilities and life stories in a safe environment.
- Areas to gather together, as well as quiet spaces to be alone.
- Residents are encouraged to participate in their homes as they choose, including gardening, housekeeping, and meal preparation.
- Mealtimes provide an environment when staff, residents, and family members can gather and socialize.

Hear from Our Residents
My mom has adjusted so wonderfully to the Evergreens. Visits with her by her husband and daughter are so enjoyable now, and we attribute all of it to the staff at Evergreens. Your unit is everything we ever imagined a memory care community could and should be.
– Kari T.
I have been very happy here with the wonderful staff, the congenial atmosphere, the good food and great care. If you come to Briarwood you’ll find old friends and make new ones.

We employ the Best Friends™ Approach to Memory Care, an internationally recognized model of care designed to create the best possible days for residents. Team members work individually with residents to learn their life stories and weave in memories when residents may not be able to. All team members are trained in this comprehensive philosophy, which is grounded in the understanding that relationships are vital in dementia care and require the essential elements of friendship:
