The 8th Annual Briarwood Golf Outing held on September 22nd raised a record net profit of $57,000!
The goal was set at $48,000, a stretch from 2015’s net profit of $46,000. New records were set also in the number of golfers, sponsorships, donations, and gala dinner attendees, as well as auction and raffle results.
Briarwood CEO Paul Bowler said, “Staff, residents, Board members, family members and friends of Briarwood make it happen – it’s a unique and very popular golf outing that continues to grow in support each year.”
The fundraising purpose of this year’s event was to help purchase a new 14-seat, handicapped-accessible transport van for Briarwood, which is on order with anticipated delivery before the end of the year.
