Briarwood Continuing Care Retirement Community of Worcester has named Richard P. Calvert of Burlington Chief Financial Officer. In this capacity, Calvert will direct finances and information systems for the organization. With more than 40 years experience, he was most recently Controller and Chief Operating Financial Officer for New England Deaconess Association in Concord. He was earlier Senior Vice President of Finance for Clinton Hospital Association, and Vice President and Director of Finance for Sancta Maria Hosptial. He holds an Executive Masters Degree in Business Administration from Anna Maria College.
Briarwood is a non-profit community that includes Independent Living cottages & apartments, Assisted Living apartments, and the Knollwood Nursing Center for skilled nursing & rehabilitation services.
